I have attended Pioneer Memorial United Church all my life. Traditionally it has been our family place of worship for five generations. My first faith home has been a wonderful source of comfort and guidance e. It is a privilege to live so close to this little country church with its scenic Muskoka view. The interior beauty is enhanced by our warm and friendly church family.

he little country church on the top of the hill,
Stands erect and stately, with its steeple tall.
For over one hundred years, it has weathered the storms
Of every season; summer, spring, winter and fall.
For generations of families, young and old,
It has always held its doors open wide.
For rich and poor from all walks of life,
Beckoning them all to come inside.
Walls like arms its congregations have held,
Giving rest to the weary and comfort to their fears.
Embracing weddings, christenings, laughter and joy,
Firmly holding the grieving, cheeks streaked with tears.
It has stood for the protection and love of all.
A home for God’s work and His will
Providing over one hundred years of dedication and faith.
