Obituary-Patricia Taylor

It is with deep sadness that the family of Patricia Anne Ingram Taylor announce her peaceful passing on July 18, 2026, at the age of 81 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her former husband, Michael Scott; her children, Lindsay (Patrick) and Jamieson (Kiara); grandchildren, Charlotte and Matthew; sister, Margie; as well as her cousins, broader family and many friends. She was the daughter of Robert Berkeley Taylor and Marian Ingram Taylor and was predeceased by her younger brother, Paul. She carried them all closely in her heart. Patricia was a devoted mother and an adoring grandmother. After a career in the Ontario public service, she remained an active community volunteer, most recently in York Region where she was a founding member of the Social Planning Council of York Region. She was a lover of animals and the outdoors, most at home at her cherished Limberlost cottage. Headstrong and sharp witted until the end, she will be dearly missed. A visitation will be held from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m., on July 23, 2026, at Morely Bedford Funeral Services (159 Eglinton Ave. West). A gathering at Limberlost will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Patricia's name may be made to York Region Food Network or the Toronto Humane Society.
